Meritland Plant Complex Project's Energy Solutions

 

 

In Hangzhou, Meilong Food Co., Ltd , also known as “Meritland” in English, is developing large mixed-use complex with retail, factory, residential and factory functions on a common underground level.

 

The total floor area above ground is 120.000m² and the underground floor area is about 30.000m².

 

The architectural design was provided by the renowned architectural firm c+ architects (Heinrich-Roller-Straße 22, 10405 Berlin).

 

 

The client wishes to build an energy-efficient and sustainable development. The project’s program offers opportunity to integrate the energy flows and to utilize waste heat for building conditioning.

 

However, the factory building beside the main building is in short of details about its area, operation patterns, etc. The clients hope to harvest waste energy from the production process, if possible.

 

The Joint team of energydesign and OSBEE offers the Energy Concept, Dynamic Building Simulation,  Aritificial Lighting and Dayligh Simulation and a Holistic Energy Generation Plan.

 

Energy concept show that energy efficiency gains of more than 36% can be achieved simply by optimizing the design.
